CONSULTING

March 2015 – Present

Here Forth Inc. — Business Consultant

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategy, business planning and tactics for direct-to-consumer brands — CPG, ecommerce and start-ups
  • Led go-to-market and growth marketing strategy for more than twenty clients; developed KPIs, business roadmaps, calendars and performance reporting
  • Led a team of marketers, developers and designers managing over twenty early- and late-stage consumer brands
  • Led all client strategy sessions, weekly calls, onboarding and marketing education

Directed strategic planning and cross-agency execution alongside the Here Forth and Vendo Commerce consulting work above.

Vendo Commerce — Head of Strategy (acquired Sept 2018)

  • Led strategy and integrated growth planning for more than a dozen omni-channel consumer brands
  • Optimized integrated media campaigns across the full customer journey
  • Developed internal processes and operations — calendars, reports, client onboarding
  • Hired, trained and managed three direct reports and several external contractors
  • Managed client email marketing programs, subscription programs and site experience

  • Core strategic integrator of internal and external teams and systems
  • Keeps alignment between Paid Media, Email, SEO, Content, Social, Creative, Product launches
  • Development & Management of business KPIs including: Revenue, CAC MER, ROAS, AOV, LTV, Returning customer rate, Traffic, Paid Efficiency

Reckitt Benckiser, Upspring — Director of Growth Marketing

  • Developed and executed strategy for user acquisition, user experience, retention and site experience across DTC, Amazon, Walmart and Target channels
  • Owned optimization of paid media performance through A/B testing, sub-brand support and user-generated content
  • Developed channel-specific and overall brand-growth KPIs
  • Managed annual marketing budget and several external partner agencies
  • Negotiated and led Amazon’s transition to Vendor Central

Feb 2017 – Jan 2018

7 For All Mankind & Splendid — Omni-Channel Marketing Lead

  • Led new customer acquisition across paid social, display, affiliate and paid search
  • Led and executed ESP migration and assisted the ecommerce replatform
  • Managed both brand email programs — acquisition, subscriber engagement and CRM retention; drove a 10% increase in email engagement post-migration
  • Designed and launched a CRM email program that generated +10% in found revenue
  • Managed two direct reports, several external partners, and all reporting/forecasting across email and digital marketing
  • Assisted brands on retail strategy to grow distribution at Walmart, Target, Kroger and Whole Foods; managed retail promotions with Target app, Walmart and Ibotta

TeeFury — Senior Marketing Manager

  • Led all marketing strategy for customer acquisition and retention across channels
  • Managed the marketing department and cross-functional teams, increasing monthly products released by 300%
  • Oversaw and optimized $5–10K in daily Facebook advertising with consistent positive ROAS
  • Joined when the company was down 45% YoY; by Q4 recovered all loss and delivered the highest-performing holiday season in company history
  • Developed a new holiday-gifting product line that drove 17% of Q4 revenue
